Holy Thursday celebrates both the institution by Christ himself of the Eucharist and the institution of the priesthood. For in this, his last supper with the disciples is celebrated. And finally on this evening there is the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament by the people during the night, just as the disciples stayed with Our Lord during His agony on the Mount of Olives before his betrayal by Judas. You are welcome to come back to pray with Our Lord in the chapel any time until 10:00 pm. This service will be sign interpreted for the deaf.
