Recycle the Warmth Blanket Drive – The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul will be conducting the Madison area’s annual Recycle the Warmth Blanket Drive, and our Saint Dennis Conference will be helping with this. The annual drive allows Saint Vincent de Paul to provide blankets, sheets and other bedding – without charge – to Dane County people in need throughout the year. Your help is needed to recycle the warmth and make this assistance possible. The blanket drive will take place Friday through Sunday, January 25 – 27. Donate new or gently used blankets and bedding at any of the three ShopKo stores in the Madison area. ShopKo will make a good-quality blanket available for the drive at an attractive sale price. Also, Saint Dennis will have collection bins in the gathering area on Saturday, January 26 and Sunday, January 27 for you to donate new or gently used blankets and other bedding. There will also be contribution envelopes available for monetary donations that will be used to buy blankets and bedding.
